Oakland BLAST will be competing in the 2009 USPL Professional division, sporting SLY Pro-Merc Jerseys, Pants, Packs, Pads and Dual-Carbon barrels. The first fully SLY Factory team, BLAST is led by paintball legend Bob Long. A proud acquisition for SLY, BLAST is one of the most revered teams on the professional circuit; compounding on decades of tournament experience, Oakland BLAST has been known to run teams down with little effort. With phenoms like Tyler Harmon and Zach Long, Oakland BLAST is sure to be a force to be reckoned with in 2009, shooting SLY's Diesel series barrels and wearing SLY's Pro-Merc apparel.
Russian Legion took home a 4th place win in the PSP Professional Bracket this past weekend, while using SLY Pro-Merc Harnesses, Bottle Covers, Protective Gear and Dual-Carbon barrels. Redefining hard work and dedication in tournament paintball, the Russian Legion is one of the most feared teams in professional history. When asked to sponsor the team in 2008, SLY was proud to step up and offer Dual-Carbon technology to the 'Legion. Los Angeles Infamous has been a podium team since its inception--obvious with their motto of "Helping Good Teams Lose." Having most recently achieved a breathtaking first place finish at PSP Phoenix 2008, LA Infamous is composed of an all-star cast of world renowned players. The team has accumulated ample attention through unorthodox means; led by Captain L.B. Fow, Infamous plans to continue to compete in the premier national paintball circuit--the PSP Professional Division.
Miami Rage remains as one of the most feared, passionate, and well-known professional teams on the planet, Miami Rage has had an unforgettable impact on the national pro circuit. Conjuring fear in the hearts of players and captivating fans worldwide, Miami Rage was a proud addition to SLY's winning staff of sponsored teams. SLY was honored to sponsor Miami Rage D2 in 2007, and is even more excited to offer Miami Rage its winning Dual-Carbon technology in 2009.
Stockholm Joy Division has been acclaimed as a "team of the world". Steamrolling through the multinational Millennium Series in Spain, England, France, and Germany, Joy Division has claimed two series title wins while under the support of SLY Equipment. Expanding their reign to the southern hemisphere, the Nordic team launched a world tour in 2008 challenging the South African, Canadian, Brazilian and Malaysian tournament scenes. Joy will continue to use SLY Barrels for 2009, and Joy's signature barrel features the teams famed leopard print pattern with a gradient fade to black and adorned with the Dual-Carbon symbol and Joy Division Logo.
